Just after a week of Uni and I've already fallen ill. I caught the cold on Friday night. I was fine the whole day and I suddenly caught it. I spend my whole Saturday
staying in bed resting. I had teary eyes and running nose for the whole day. I ate a lot of different types of medicine. It was damn uncomfortable. This morning I woke up with a major headache but my flu was better. I went to the doctor on my mum's order. I have to eat 5 kinds of medicine which tasted horrible. I really hope that this medicine would relieve me of my pain fast.

1st day
Today was my first day of Foundation studies. I could describe it in 1 word. BORING.
However,I created a new record today. I was late for my first class. There were no parking and I had to walk far to get to my class. This is the first in MY LIFE being late for a first class. Man, that suck.
I met with Junn Honn to have lunch together. Later, I went to my next lecture which was Maths. Inside the room were 50 over students from BioScience, Computer Science and Business School students. All of them have that "I'm so eager to learn new things and meet new people" look on their face like small little kids. The lecture was a bore for me. I was sleepy and tired. My head was hurting and I can't wait to get out of there. Luckily, class end early. After that, I went to teach Japanese.
At night, I went back to campus with Junn Honn to play basketball. I fell in love with the court there. The board is plastic and it's on a hill. The view was nice, air was fresh and it's cooling at night. What a nice place to build a basketball court. Despite the boring lectures, I love my Uni because of the sports facilities.

It's starting
Last Thursday and Friday were the Orientation and Induction for my class in the University of Nottingham starting on Monday. The first day was a drag cause I had to wake up early just to do some paperwork. They wrote that its from 9.30am to 4.30pm and I thought I was gonna be that long but what they meant was that registration is opened during these hours. I reached home at 10.30am and slept.
The second day was when all the speeches were given. Through out the whole thing I was sleepy and couldn't keep up. All I was thinking was, when is this all gonna be over. Then I walked around campus trying to familiarise with the surroundings with Junn Honn, who is also doing foundation there. What I really loved about my new school is the sports facilities there. There's basketball, tennis, squash, swimming pool, gym, football, futsal, volleyball and rugby fields/courts available. A total sport heaven.
Classes starts on Monday. I'm not nervous at all cause I'm just not excited to study again. I hope everything goes well for a lazy dude like me.

PC Fair
Today's the first day of PC Fair. My brother has been waiting for this day to come for a long time. His laptop was busted and he needed a new one. So today I drove my family to get it for him as my dad's not here.
We arrived around 11 something in the morning. I went to the fair while my family went to Sony Style. I wanted to check out what's there in the fair. I bumped into Tracy just when I arrived and walked around the fair together with her.
Then later I saw Che Wei and Sean, my ICT teacher in high school working there. Although they say lots of leng lui should be there but I didn't any. Maybe my taste is just different. Haha.
Well this is the highlight of my day. Btw, Happy Birthday to Ken Hong and Chang Yu.
Let's play more mahjong.

Those days
Every time I see those photos from that day, the memories just keep flooding in even if I don't wanna remember them. It feels like having an amnesia and I just realised what a bad person I am in the past. When I see those photos I can't help but wonder, was I happy back in those days ? Were you happy ?
No one will know. I shouldn't ask question like this. Gotta stay focus in the present for the future.

Awesome Party !!
Last night was our scheduled Mahjong Night again but this time it's different from all the previous mahjong nights. It's because we had a BBQ party this time.
All the others were told to bring the food while I supplied the grill.
It has been a long time since the last time I BBQ-ed with my pals.
Kenneth brought pork fillet, cucumber and green peppers while Chang Yu brought pork chops. The 3 of us started first because Xue Ying was running late. As usual.
We had so much fun grilling together. There were lots of jokes.
Later, Xue Ying arrived with cocktail sausages and marshmallow. So, we cook some more and just eat, eat and eat. I told all of them that it would be great if we all were studying together overseas. We will always have parties like this. After all the cooking and eating, we went straight to mahjong and the rest is all history.
In the end, all of us except Xue Ying and her bf realised that we don't have many friends cause we were missing another player and couldn't find anybody. So, rather than the usual 2 tables, this time we only have 1 table and we had to share. At least all's well ends well.
I'll see you guys again in 2 weeks. Yeah !!!!!

Recently I started using the picture slideshow screensaver for my laptop.
You know, the one where they show pictures in your My Picture folder.
I always turn on my laptop but just leave it there so the screensaver always come on.
It's surprising to find out how many photos that I've forgotten about.
Photos taken on trips or just photos with your friends. You get the idea.
I guess when they say a picture is worth a thousand words, they really meant it.
Words might be forgotten but when you see a picture the memories just come flying back. Over the years, alot have been forgotten. It's just great to revisit my memories once in a while and it's weird seeing how you look different before.

In science, opposite attracts. Positive(+ve) and positive.
Negative(-ve) and negative. Whereas in maths, when you multiply a negative with a negative, it becomes positive. Both this theories not only applies to their respective subjects. It does well in the relationships between humans.
When you are looking for a friend in a new school, it's always advised to find someone who share the same interest as you do. There's the application of the Maths Theory. However in the field of love, it's always said that opposites attracts.
People from different worlds often fall in love and believe that their love would triumph against anything.
I wonder which theory normally takes place when a new relationship is formed.
